For my Logos and Corporate Identity class I was extremely fortunate to have an actual client and brand her from start to finish.
Helen S. Fletcher is an exquisite baker/cook in St. Louis, Missouri who owns her own bakery and has written sporadically throughout the years for magazines and even a cookbook or two. She had made the decision to write more frequently and needed to be branded as a writer, completely separating herself from her bakery. She called herself The Ardent Cook and so it was my job to incorporate Helen's elegance, sophistication, liveliness, energy, love of food and cooking abilities into an identity for her writing pursuits.
In addition to the logo and items shown here, I designed a pocket folder, note card and its envelope, I wrote her identity style guide and created the foundation for what her website should look like.
